A total of 22 specialists from prestigious companies, such as Bosch, E.ON and ZF, discussed issues of current interest and practical experience gained in the fields of competence and skills management with speakers from Volkswagen, Daimler and SMA Solar.

Competence models, internationalisation, difference to performance management, co-determination requirements and company-wide roll-out were some of the key relevant challenges confronting companies in their day to day work.

Great interest was also shown in the various ways of integrating machine learning and DAS analytics in skills management illustrated by Professor Giesen.

Participants were particularly impressed by the open and professional exchange of ideas and opportunity to talk with many experts in the field.
