From Hanover to Munich

We honestly hadn’t expected that our IT Skills Study 2009 would generate such great impact.

In September and October, for example, Germany’s leading business IT weekly, IDG owned Computerwoche, ran stories on us both online and in print.

Other publications followed, the latest being Munich based community magazine IT-Szene München which covered our IT Skills Study despite the fact that Munich is some 600 kilometres or 400 miles away from our office in Hanover.

“Business experience is essential while above-average soft skills are just nice to have,” writes IT-Szene München, highlighting one result of our study before summarizing the study’s key findings on a two-page spread on pages two and three of the magazine.

The city of Hanover hosts the world’s largest computer expo CeBIT; the greater Munich area is home to Germany and EMEA headquarters of major IT companies such as Apple, Microsoft and Oracle.
